I have many reasons why I am not a great fan of Winter - the fact that I am always cold, rain messing up my hair and wind mixed with rain blowing in your face...the list goes on. But I think one of the things most of us would agree on is that Winter takes away our sunlight and with it our golden glow! We all know that no matter what your body looks like, it looks better with a tan and I for one could not agree more!
Though I can't do anything about the fact that it is Winter, I can cheer you up by helping you get a golden glow that will make everyone jealous and leave them wondering what island holiday you've been to with the help of Caribbean Tan!
Caribbean Tan is giving away a fabulous hamper of goodies that will not only make you look great, but also make it last longer! The hamper includesa Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, Tan in a Can (which is like an instant spray tan), Tanning Spritzer, Milk and Honey Tan X-tender, Cinnamon and Coconut Skin Smoothing Exfoliator, a Self-Tanning Application Mitt and a Carribean Tan Beach bag!

If you end up with a streaky tan, you can fix with an toner (you can also try toothpaste). Exfoliate streaky area to eliminate patches. Also make sure you give the tan enough time to develop.

The quality of self tan is all about the smoothness of the surface of the skin.
Do a thorough cleansing with a daily scrub skin product before applying the self tan product.

I'm extremely fair skinned and pale. My tip is to not go overboard when choosing a shade to use. Try choose a shade that is only a couple shades different to your own colouring.. you do not want to end up looking like the nic nak man! your goal is to look natural and sun kissed. Test on a small patch beforehand to see what's the best for you.. Carribean is my best kept secret. I can achieve a beautiful tan without any damage to my skin and without working up a sweat. Its a tan done right!

Always exfoliate properly as some of the skin will begin peeling in a day or two

I like to use a little extra self tan under my jaw line which helps make my neck look slimmer and exaggerates my bone structure <3

Wash your hands immediately after applying self-tan otherwise your hands stay yellow for a long time.

Always test your self-tanner on a small patch of skin before using it on your whole body, because you might get a skin reaction or the colour doesn't match and you end up looking like an orange.
